It is now accepted by many researchers that new technologies can offer support and develop the sector of tourism. This study aims to investigate the changes occurring about by the development of technology in the tourism sector and to highlight the advantages and disadvantages that may arise from its adoption.
Then given the great importance of the use of the Internet, electronic commerce, smart mobiles and the different applications that are widely used in the tourism industry.
This work continues recording the presence of catalytic social media in tourism. It is also evident that the influence of social media to prospective consumers in making their final decisions.
The objective purpose of this study is to analyse the important tools offered by technology focusing on electronic and mobile tourism and ease of use by tourism enterprises.
Finally a conclusive review of the work will be given and presented proposals for further future research and analysis.
