In this study examined the management of environmental impacts from the operation of hospitals therefore analyzed the specific impact on the environment and describes the best practices for the rational use of resources and environmental management in hospitals to meet the requirements of existing legislation.
Then presented a series of actions developed at the Asklipieio Voulas General Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital under the program Life to identify and then reduce the environmental impacts from the operation of hospitals.
In this context applied eHospitalEMAS project in the above hospitals and its results are presented in detail at work, with a view to formulating interventions and target energy upgrading of buildings and improve their environmental behavior.
