MIT app inventor is a free, visual programming environment that gives us the opportunity to create applications for mobile phones, which use android software. The logic of the tool is based on WYSIWYG (abbreviation for "What You See Is What You Get" (What you see is what you will receive)) solution of Google, allowing to create applications for popular Android operating system, via simple drag 'n' drop. So theoretically, even a novice user with zero programming knowledge can, through the App Inventor in less than an hour, create his own android application.
This paper is intended to create a detailed user manual for app inventor. Therefore, it is presented in detail what the tool is, in which fields it can be applied, the work of its team, the partners as well as set up instructions and an explanation of each command and component provided by the environment that users can use to make their own application. In addition, to better understand the tool, a standard application is developed through which the user can see theory be turned into practice.
