Abstract

This project aims, through a detailed bibliography and with a presentation of a sample, at providing the designation and the materialization of all those procedures that are included in the contemporary philosophy of a supply chain. It place special emphasis on the meaning of the green supply chain, such us the development of green supplies, the organization and function of the warehouse, the reverse supply chain as well as the meaning of the function of the alternative administration, in general, and the alternative administration of the vehicles, more specifically. In the first part, the project presents the meaning of the supply chain, the state of the contemporary enterprises and it follows with the extensive presentation of the redesign of the supply chain and its contents focusing on the functions of green supplies as the mean as the main categories that contribute to the strategic administration of the waste. The second part is centered on the study of the company Coco-mat ABEE and the way that applies the contemporary procedures of the green chain. The ultimate aim is to present the issues that concern the regulatory instructions and their application in the Greek reality, the problems that arise as well as the role of the enterprises in the whole process.
