Abstract

The main objective of this project is to design and implement a dynamic website on the publicity and awareness of Dementia and its forms. The information contained in the site is useful for both patients themselves and all the people they associate with. The ultimate goal is to learn about the CMS Drupal (Content Management System) and to present its capabilities . In order to create this website we had to study in depth about the Drupal, as we had to consolidate the way its core and its functions work. Extra attention has been paid to the construction of the website so as to be easy to use and navigate. In an effort to understand greatly this Content Management System we have composed a detailed presentation from the perspective of the Administrator. Administrator Menu is described in detail, in an attempt to acquaint the large amount of settings which are offered to simple users. Content Management Systems provide standard functionality and up to a level they do not require deep programming knowledge . To prove the above fact , we have compiled a comprehensive guide which describes the development of the website from scratch. However Drupal gives the ability to those who deal with programming to expand their capabilities and enhance the functionality of the cms in favor of the global community of Drupal. Wanting to contribute to the empowerment of Drupal we proceeded to adjust the annotate module to work from version 6 to version 7.
