Nowadays, the human resource is the most precious capital in a company or a corporation, which operates in a highly competitive environment. The skills and the attitudes of employees, their motivation, their abilities obtained from their work, their feeling of receiving fair treatment and their participation in achieving common goals configure and affect their job satisfaction and their efficiency, as well as the effectiveness and the productivity of the company/corporation, its fame and prestige and finally its survival. In the modern business world, advancements in technology, economy and society, lead to changes in the way that companies operate. The consequence of these advancements is the development of information technology, which coincidently develops the net technology and the systems of communication. The appropriate combination between the immaterial and material company’s assets helps the company to achieve its goals. The company/corporation accommodates its staff in the new advancements, thus aiming to achieve maximum level of effectiveness and productivity. However, the question is what the employees think about the use of new information technology systems. Is this use beneficial and useful? Does the staff become satisfied and more efficient? The present research work attempts to answer all these questions. Firstly, it presents a theoretical approach on the issues of Information Technology Systems, Efficiency Rating, In-Tray Exercise and Occupational Satisfaction. In the second part it carries out a desk research, which is based on the opinion of a hospital’s staff, where the previous information technology system was changed a year ago by the CCS (Computer Control System) company.
