Mathematics, is a course infamous amongst students for its difficulty. Teaching mathematics is often too hard, considering not only students’ attitude towards the course but also the lack of proper digital objects to visualize the concepts. Learning objects, provide a viable means to visualize the concept, using modern technologies in technology enhanced education. However, the means those learning objects are distributed to students, is limited. This MSc thesis presents the creation of 23 interactive learning objects in mathematics, in order to visualize basic mathematical concepts. In addition, it introduces a new way of delivering them to the students, utilizing QR Codes. The learning objects were developed using Adobe’s Flash and Photoshop programmers and the powerful language ActionScript 2, in combination with the XML language.
