The dissertation in public administration, compared with private hospital clinic is primarily intending to make the environment prevailing in the health services in Greece and the difficulties of governing the administration of the hospital, both public and private sectors. In addition to this, its' aim is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of public and private hospital. It also refers to the overall health conditions and finally it analyzes the meaning of administration / management in health services and the functions of them. A description of the national health system and private health services in Greece are one of the main components of this work. Finally through a questionnaire it is tried to be drawn the institution of management in public and private hospital. Results of the survey showed that professionals in the public and private sector health services and administrative services to specific hospitals or clinics are satisfied with the institution of management in the administration of the hospital, but indicate that there is still work for the optimum functioning of public hospitals or private clinics. As for the demand for private health services there is increased interest in recent years due to significant investments made by the private sector both in out-patient care and diagnostics in high technology which have resulted in providing many services to facilitate faster and more valid and reliable compared with public clinics. Finally through the questionnaires it is concluded that the lack of staff, training, control, evaluation and equipment still remain serious problems. So the main conclusion of our study could be considered to combat any problems through a systematic, accurate, thorough and organized restructuring the health services sector, through design and implementation of an integrated intervention plan with two main thrusts. The provision of health services focusing on the citizen and the proper treatment of professionals to ensure. That means the right for health in high quality; enhancement of the health system through the use of better equipment, better training of workers, assessment and control of all procedures; the avoidance of wastage through proper coordination in the functional health; the improvement of human resources and medical care for all Greek citizens. Fundamental principle of health policy is the creation of a modern health system, which will protect health and not just the management of the disease and will guarantee equal and easy access to high-level health services for all citizens.
