This research paper has as an objective the study and the comparative analysis of rights and obligations of the patients in Greece and in U.K. The present study after an approach of the meaning of the rights attempts to discover the legal and historical references from ancient times till today emphasizing in Greece and in England. Afterwards, it studies the relationship between health professionals and patients and tries to approach the rights and obligations of patients. At the end, it seems important to refer to the problems that arise during the applying of obligations and rights and to recommend solutions and precautions to overlap those problems.
