The project management was developed in order to incorporate the department of the administration and the department of business strategy. It is very important because it refers to the planning, the supervision and the control of human resources. It can be applied to various fields such as construction, engineering and telecommunication projects. Moreover, corporations developed rapidly another important field. This includes the process by which companies reach and methodically manage the risks that are associated with the life cycle of their projects. Their goal is to achieve the targets that were set by the company and the project manager. Therefore, it helps in avoiding predictable risks, protects the wrong investment decisions and reduces losses and damages from unpredictable events. Risk management is not only applied by companies or public bodies, but also can be applied to any activity, short or long. The benefits and opportunities should be examined not only within the framework of the activity itself, but also in relation to many different stakeholders that may be affected. The objective of this thesis is to analyze risk management. It will also describe the application of risk addressing methodology in a telecommunications project. The methodology of analysis and risk management is divided into three main stages: the risk identification, the risk evaluation, the risk assessment and then follows the scheduling, the resource management, the control and the monitoring of the management plan. Finally, the aim of this thesis is to choose the best strategy for risk addressing in order to smoothly complete a project without affecting the validity and the brand of a company.
