Abstract

The topic of this master thesis refers to a Service Management subject headings of online Catalog (Online Public Access Catalog - OPAC) of the Library, created to serve the needs of librarian. This Service enables the user to manage the subject headings in real time (on-line) with the use of Semantic Web technologies, which are stored in a specialized database (triple store). Aim for each subject heading of the library is to identify unregistered relations thematic title of this with the rest of the library. To achieve this used repository of subject headings of the Library of Congress. The service, which is built in this master thesis used data library of the Ionian University.
