The subject of this thesis is the mapping of emergency departments in greek hospitals over the past four years (2009-2012). In this thesis the aim is the rating of the arriving in Tzaneio’s hospital ED patients’ satisfaction level, related to the department effective organization and function and to the deficiencies that were observed. The purpose is to presentate the Emergency Departments and particularly, to describe how they should operate and be organized in accordance with the existing legal framework, as well as to highlight the problems that they face, so as for improvement recommendations to be implemented.
