Abstract

Nowadays there is a dizzying development of Internet technologies thus creating a huge volume of data and information whereas human may have an easy access to it but it is quite difficult for him to absorb and to consolidate. It is necessary to use modern methods of education with targeted material in order to allow the training process to become more efficient. The educational software combines the use of the electronic computer to the training methods that have proven effective by the teaching theory and achieves a fast and a proper education of the student-user. This work was aimed at developing educational software that will educate the user in the desktop application Open Office Calc to create and edit spreadsheets. The purpose of this software is to gather information about the Open Office Calc and convey them to the user in the form of small courses. Then the user can perform an assessment test to observe his deficiencies he might have.
