In this diplomatic project will be analyzed the way that contributed the marine insurance premium and the analysis of the factors that affect it. The project will be separated in two parts. Firstly, in the marine cargo insurance and secondly, in the vessels insurance. Of great importance will be the references to marine insurance law which is a necessary base for the creation of marine insurance contracts and its premium. Maritime definitions will be also given in this project, like the insurable interest, the insurer, the insurance contract, the warranties, the incoterms 2000 etc.. Furthermore, will be referenced, the factors that influencing the premium and the ways of its contribution. In conclusion and in a combination with all the aforesaid and the use of the specific valuation policy, the companies are making specific charges.
