Abstract

The rapid evolution of technology in recent years has made computer systems accessible to all users with result, the increment of computer usage in education. The noticeable size reduction of the devices, made the usage of mobile devices for entertainment, information and training at any time, without restrictions of location and facilities. With the usage of smart devices such as mobile phones and tablets, students have the opportunity to achieve their learning goals with enjoyable and more attractive way since the ease of interaction and interactivity offered by smart devices are an integral part of everyday life of young people nowadays. The purpose of this thesis is the presentation of an authoring tool utilizing the interactive features offered by smart devices for the training and evaluation of students with administrative capabilities provided to the teachers from the tool. Initially a summary of the application is presented and relevant sources and similar implementations are provided. ^e application and its functions are presented in detail. The system architecture is analyzed using UML diagrams, several proposals and future evolution are presented and finally an evaluation of the whole project is given.
