Abstract
The professional status of the author as a high school teacher in the computer science field was the key criterion for choosing this subject for my thesis. The basic goal was the recording of opinions of computer science’s teachers, regarding the way of teaching of this lesson in high school. Main goals were the documented highlight of teachers' opinions, as well as the disclosure of the necessity of the Internet survey method for educational issues. At the web site http://users.sch.gr/itziano/ a questionnaire was posted. There was a reply from 197 colleagues (High Education 19/20 class), 94 of whom put their name. From the statistical analysis of the results, the main exported conclusions are firstly that the teaching time is not enough for the achievement of the teaching goal. Moreover, the technical support needs to be improved. Furthermore, at the overcrowded classrooms the quality of lessons is poor. Finally, the majority of teachers wish that certification’s examinations regarding the basic knowledge of computer, could take place. The main proposal is the increase of teaching time.
