Abstract

The creation of the website "The environment in Greece" is a website where users can be informed about issues concerning with the environment. This site consists of 2 level users website (administrator, guest), where each of them can perform the functions that correspond to him, according to his rights. The administrator has unlimited rights, as he can change, modify and update the texts of the Site, monitoring Email and comments of visitors and add Keywords for search engine. We used the HTML programming language in combination with the PHP language for web programming, and SQL programming language for programming database. More specifically, the programs that we used, Dreamweaver CS4 for the website design, adobe flash professional 8 for creating graphics and video, the Adobe Photoshop CS for creating and converting icons of website, SlideShow Builder Flash to create a slide show flash and for the creation of the database was used mini server WampServer which combines tools Rhp - MySQL - Apache distributed free on the internet and they are ana1yzed in detail in subsequent chapters. Moreover, used and phpMyAdrnintool which also distributed free of charge and provides a graphical management system relational database. Developed a user friendly and convenient website. For any further questions or additional information that users may have, on issues concerning about the environment, there has been designed a special Communication form with the administrator of the website, who could offer users further clarifications via e-mail. Also, there is possibility from the readers to add comments or upload them to a special form that exists in the Site.
