The subject of this specific project is to analyze the insurance of general and dry bulk cargoes during the transportation of these cargoes through Mediterranean Sea and specifically through Greek islands. There is a discrimination of each kind of cargo and the routes that each cargo follows during its transportation to the specified areas. Moreover, there is analysis of the terms of marine insurance and insurance contracts which are usually being held, the existing marine law, the institutions of marine insurance, the action, the structure of P& I Clubs and the way that P& I Clubs act. Furthermore, some legal issues that could arise in everyday marine industry are analyzed, trying to make clear the way that marine insurance and all parties around it act.
