Abstract
With this project of analysis, it aimed to the added value of the Satellite Communications. It analyzes the Satellite Communications as a mandatory field of development, and as an option to the company as well. After it studied the theoretical base of our subject it registered all the current and forthcoming technologies and it separates them in terms of their mandatory nature. Then the cost-benefit analysis within the systems comes to be verified by a theoretical model of a shipping company and by the real historical data. At the next step of the analysis, the related applications come as an added value to the Systems. Finally the total suggestions and conclusions are presented.
