During this global economic crisis, sea tourism was one of the few industries with a low level of increase, especially the cruise industry. For the yachting industry , there are estimations of 12millions in 2005 & 17millions in 2010 , in the E.E. market. Mediterranean is the second choice of sea leisure activities and has the potential to become the first. Our country, under the certain geographical and climate conditions, is already a famous cruising and yachting destination, that can be further developed. Especially after the demolition of cabotage, the big players of sea tourism show great interest for inventing in Greek ports infrastructure and facilities. Τhe potential of Greek market cruising & yachting , should be examined spherical by analyzing trends & comparisons, in order to exploit the advantages and the opportunities mainly in the developing market of Mediterranean.
