Abstract
With the advent of the twenty first century another barrier in the field of Mathematics was destined to be overcome. Concerning the proof of Fermat’s famous theorem, an important and mysterious object of study which troubled many researchers for many years but also gave birth to important methods and theories. The need for solutions to real problems highlighted an important area of mathematics: the diophantine equations. Their applications to other sciences are crucial and the deriving solutions are clear and intact. Their use in programming methods provides practical solutions to everyday problems, from the simplest to the complex one, which due to computers are no longer insuperable.
