Prime numbers lie in the heart of current research in Number Theory and Cryptography. Since the time of Euclid many distinguished scientists have worked on problems related directly or indirectly to prime numbers. In this work, we present some results related with the following questions: Is there a formula for the construction of all prime numbers? Is there any sort of normality in the appearance of prime numbers? How can we construct large prime numbers? What is the connection of prime number to geometric construction problems? Every section contains references to sources that have more detailed analysis for each question.
