This dissertation focuses on the analysis and development of an Information System in education and in particular, in a Vocational Training Institute (I.E.K.). It concerns an Information System designed to partially cover the gap s in the normal and well-paced operation of a Vocational Training Institute. Current developments in Information Technology with the embodiment of new technologies and the characteristics of digital technology create new opportunities in education. The interaction between people and technology can contribute to the development of software which can be used to benefit the institute using it. In particular this thesis presents a systematic approach of an Information System which will be developed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). This dissertation closes with a presentation of a project demonstrating our proposal.
