This dissertation examines the management and evolution of innovative technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), using the case of IpHost, a company operating in the field of hosting services and cloud infrastructure. The aim is to understand how a Greek SME can integrate, utilize, and develop technologies such as cloud computing, automation, and artificial intelligence tools to maintain a competitive advantage.
The methodology was based on a combination of qualitative and quantitative approach (mixed-method). Interviews were conducted with company employees to capture their experiences, challenges, and attitudes toward technological innovation, as well as customer satisfaction research through a satisfaction survey. The analysis of the collected data highlighted the company's strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. The findings indicate that continuous staff development, a collaborative culture, and targeted technological investment are critical success factors for the sustainable development of SMEs in the digital environment.
The dissertation concludes with proposals for strategic development, including investments in automation, modern security systems, continuous staff training and the utilization of funding tools for further technological upgrading.
