This thesis presents a techno-economic feasibility study for the construction of a 4 MW photovoltaic park in the Thessaly region of Greece. The aim of the study is to outline the overall investment framework, covering all stages from initial planning and licensing to full implementation and operation of the project. The work thoroughly examines the electricity market derived from Renewable Energy Sources (RES), the selection of technology, investment and operational costs, as well as the financial performance of the investment using key indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period. The analysis is based on real cost data from the Greek energy market. The study concludes that the investment is economically and socially viable, offering strong returns and environmental benefits.
