Abstract: This thesis explores the role of digital media in the promotion and dissemination of cultural heritage, focusing on the Byzantine Castle in Fanari, Karditsa as a case study. In a context where technology is transforming the way cultural information is perceived, managed, and disseminated, the study aims to bridge the theory of digital cultural heritage with practical applications such as photography, social media, 3D reconstruction, oral testimonies, and interactive educational tools. Through the design and implementation of an integrated digital narrative for the castle and the settlement of Fanari, the research highlights the importance of participatory documentation, local identity, and experiential engagement with history. The study contributes to the scientific discourse on the integration of innovative technologies in the field of cultural management, proposing an applicable model of digital promotion that can be adapted to similar monuments or cultural landscapes.
