This postgraduate thesis focuses on the rapid evolution of digital presentation creation tools powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), with an emphasis on platforms such as Gamma.app, Presentations.ai, and Beautiful.ai. Its main objective is to document the key features, advantages, and limitations of these platforms, as well as to explore the potential for their integration into educational and professional settings.
The thesis begins with a theoretical overview of Artificial Intelligence in educational technology and digital communication. It then proceeds with a detailed analysis of modern AI-powered presentation tools such as Gamma, Presentations.ai and Beautiful.ai. Through a comparative evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses, and by employing a SWOT analysis, the distinct characteristics of each tool are recorded, particularly regarding usability, aesthetic design, collaboration capabilities, and their flexibility in adapting to target audiences. The conclusions highlight that such tools have the potential to redefine and reshape the way information is created and transmitted. At the same time, concerns are raised about content authenticity and the extent to which users may become dependent on algorithmic models.
The thesis concludes with recommendations for the pedagogically sound integration of AI tools into educational environments, and it emphasizes the need to develop critical literacy regarding technologies that automatically generate content.
