This master’s thesis addresses the issue of school bullying, a phenomenon that
strongly concerns the contemporary educational community and is associated with
significant psychosocial consequences. The purpose of this study was the design a
Digital Micro-course targeted at 5th and 6th grade students, aiming to enhance
their understanding of the phenomenon, recognize different forms of bullying,
foster empathy, and cultivate prevention skills.
The development of the course was grounded in UNESCO’s pedagogical
framework for addressing school violence and bullying, as well as on the principles
of constructive alignment, in order to ensure coherence between learning
objectives, activities, and assessment. Google Classroom was selected as the
implementation platform, as it provides a user-friendly environment with the ability
to integrate multimedia and collaborative tools (e.g., H5P, Google Forms, Padlet),
thereby enhancing students’ active participation and interaction.
The thesis presents the methodology of course design and development, a review
of existing digital courses, an analysis of the pedagogical choices, and the
evaluation of the implementation. Furthermore, conclusions and proposals for
future improvements are formulated, drawing on relevant literature concerning
the design of digital learning. Overall, the study highlights the contribution of
micro-learning in preventing school bullying and in promoting the creation of a safe
and inclusive school environment.
