The rapid development of information and communication technologies has rendered cybersecurity one of the most critical pillars of the digital era. The objective of this thesis is to investigate the role of Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions in education and in the development of skills in the field of information systems security. Initially, the theoretical background of CTFs and the CTFd platform is presented. Subsequently, a set of challenges that were designed and implemented across various categories (cryptography, steganography, pwn, web exploitation, miscellaneous) are analyzed in detail. For each challenge, the methodology of implementation, the solving process, and the necessary remediation measures are discussed. Finally, conclusions are drawn regarding the pedagogical value of CTFs, along with suggestions for their further integration into academic curricula.
