This thesis investigates the development of an educational cybersecurity software platform titled
“SecureNet”. The system offers a structured learning program that introduces users to
fundamental cybersecurity concepts through concise theoretical modules and curated
explanatory videos. Interactive, topic-specific quizzes enable learners to assess their knowledge
in real time, pinpoint weaknesses and revisit the relevant content for targeted revision.
The study includes a comparative review of existing cybersecurity education tools, highlighting
their core features, strengths and limitations to define the requirements of the proposed solution.
It then details the requirements analysis, the design rationale and the underlying architecture of
the solution, complemented by a user manual that guides end users in leveraging the full potential
of the application.
The thesis concludes with lessons learned from the development and evaluation of SecureNet,
the benefits it delivers, and any issues encountered, while outlining directions for future
enhancement.
