The present thesis deals with the development of an Android application that aims to serve as the digital wallet for students’ university ID cards. Its creation was deemed necessary due to the need to modernize identification methods and the broader trend of digitalization in Greece, with the goal of reducing bureaucracy. The implementation was carried out using Android Studio and Jetpack Compose. The latter offers a wide range of capabilities, which were utilized in order to create a user-friendly application that provides a satisfactory user experience.
