This paper examines the emergence of China in the global economy as a dominant power, focusing on the role of international trade in this process. The study analyzes the factors that have led to the explosive growth of the Chinese economy in recent decades and how the country has used international trade as the main driver for its economic rise. Through the analysis of historic data, trade expansion strategies and the impact on the global economy, the paper seeks to elucidate the dynamics shaping China’s position on the global trade map. The findings suggest that China has succeeded in consolidating its position as a central player in global trade through targeted strategies and investments. The paper concludes that China’s trade hegemony presents both opportunities and challenges for the global economy, while offering suggestions for future research and policy directions.
