This thesis focuses on the study and application of the principles of Design Thinking and the user experience design process (UX design process) with the aim of developing a new distance learning platform tailored to the needs of primary schools. First, the basic theoretical concepts and stages that make up the above methodologies are presented, which serve as the foundation for designing an efficient and functional environment. Next, the platform development process is described, which includes user needs research, requirements definition, prototyping, and evaluation through usability testing. The aim of the thesis is to highlight how the combined use of modern design approaches can contribute to improving the teaching experience, enhancing both the effectiveness of teachers and the learning engagement of students.
