The factors influencing the success of a new enterprise, the potential risks it may encounter, and the strategies for capitalizing on market opportunities will be examined. Additionally, the thesis will address contemporary trends in the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as best practices for managing a tourism business. The practical application section will present the business plan for the company “By the Sea in Santo”. This plan will include a detailed market analysis, the business model, marketing strategy, financial analysis, and projections for the company’s revenues and expenses. The competitive landscape in the Santorini area will be assessed, and strategies for differentiating the new business and attracting customers will be explored. Furthermore, a cash flow analysis will be conducted, and profitability forecasts will be provided.
The objective of this thesis is to offer a comprehensive overview of the process involved in establishing and operating a new business, providing practical examples and actionable strategies for future entrepreneurs. Through this analysis, the challenges and opportunities within the tourism and hospitality sector will be highlighted, offering valuable insights and tools for the successful implementation of the business plan.
