This thesis presents the development of an educational software for primary education in the form
of an interactive game, for the visualization of the solution of practical arithmetic problems. The
application, named "Primary Education Educational Software in the Form of an Interactive Game",
seeks to combine learning with entertainment and play, contributing to a better understanding of
practical arithmetic problems.
The software was implemented using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and offers eight different
numeracy practice activities. The methodology was based on the principles of experiential
learning and the software is designed to provide a fun, enjoyable and interactive learning
environment that aims to encourage engagement among as many primary school students as
possible.
