The importance of diplomacy is highlighted in the modern era, more than ever, due to the increasing connectivity of countries in the economic and energy sector that we will analyze in this thesis. It is quite important to understand the leading role that the United States plays in the development of energy diplomacy as well as in the search for economic alliances, mainly for the benefit of the country. Examples of U.S. en-ergy diplomacy towards Greece are the LNG Alexandroupolis terminal as well as the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector. Examples of economic cooperation are the various investment actions that have taken place in recent years by American companies. Another important role of Greek American relations is regional political and eco-nomic stability as well as energy security. Greece has historically been a crossroads of three continents (Africa, Asia and Europe), and is often mentioned for its strategic location. At last, this thesis shines a light on the increasingly vital world of energy diplomacy. Policymakers and researchers need to comprehend the steps being taken globally to harness energy and strengthen eco-nomic ties for the sake of security and cooperation. These are not just limited to the United States and Greece—they're happening all around the world, and with all kinds of partners.
