This thesis presents a news application for viewing and searching content on Android mobile devices. It allows users to access news based on their device’s location, search for news, and browse articles from various categories. The purpose of the application is to provide users with frequent news updates relevant to their interests, keep them informed about events in their location, and provide weather information. Registered users can select news categories and receive personalized content. They also have the ability to comment on articles, view others’ comments, and respond. The backend is implemented using the Spring Boot Framework in combination with a MySQL database.
