Physiotherapy is a recognized therapeutic method that significantly contributes to the
recovery of health issues for a large number of patients worldwide. It utilizes various
techniques and technological tools, such as massage, heat, and electricity, to achieve
therapeutic results.
This study focuses on assessing patient satisfaction with physiotherapy services, while also
considering their perceived economic value. Specifically, it explores whether the quality of
services justifies the cost from the patient’s perspective, and how satisfied they feel as
recipients of healthcare.
A quantitative research methodology was applied. The analysis of the research questions
was conducted using statistical methods such as ANOVA, T-tests, and correlation analysis.
Findings revealed that the majority of participants consider quality to be the primary factor
in choosing physiotherapy services.
Additionally, most respondents strongly agreed that physiotherapy plays an important role
in the healthcare system and significantly contributes to health recovery. They also
perceived that physiotherapy helps reduce public healthcare expenditures, which are viewed
as lower compared to those in the private sector.
Regarding the quality-to-cost ratio, 33.7% of participants rated it as high. Moreover, 30.5%
expressed a neutral opinion when comparing services to those abroad. Finally, 30.5%
reported a high level of satisfaction with the value of physiotherapy services.
