Abstract

The aim of the work is to develop a student restaurant application that will help its administrator to insert a daily menu to the restaurant, edit a daily of the restaurant and view the preferences of the users. The administrator has the ability to insert and edit the restaurant menu having various parameters such as the name, the description and the type of food (whether it is vegetarian, fasting or vegan). Also, the customers of the application who are students or the teaching staff of a University will be able to be informed fast and easily about the menu, as well as they will be able to evaluate it. Also, the administrator will have access to various statistics, such as food ratings, how many foods were rated the most, how many vegan foods were rated positively, how many vegetarian foods were rated positively as well as the percentage of users who declared themselves allergic to a specific allergen. For the application, the Spring Boot framework is used.
