Abstract
This dissertation focuses on the development and utilization of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) application in the healthcare sector. EMRs are software platforms used by healthcare professionals to store, manage, and share patient information and medical data. The EMR application assists in improving the quality of healthcare, reducing medical errors, and enhancing patient management. The dissertation analyzes the development, implementation, and integration of the EMR application in healthcare facilities and provides a detailed assessment of its benefits. It also examines data security issues related to electronic health records and proposes strategies for safeguarding patients' personal information. Lastly, it highlights the significance of EMR technology in the healthcare sector and suggests potential enhancements and future developments that can further contribute to the provision of better healthcare.
