This thesis focuses on the study, design, and development of an online store (e-shop) for cosmetic products using OpenCart. The goal is to create a functional, user-friendly, and easily manageable e-shop that provides a complete shopping experience for users and meets the modern requirements of online commerce.
The project covers all stages of e-shop development, from the analysis of requirements and the design of the system architecture, to the organization of product categories and the implementation of core functionalities such as user registration, navigation, shopping cart management, and order completion. Special emphasis is placed on transaction security, the protection of personal data, and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Additionally, the thesis analyzes promotional strategies for the e-shop through SEO, social media advertising, and email marketing, aiming to increase website traffic and sales. Finally, the e-shop is evaluated through a questionnaire to assess the platform's performance and propose potential improvements.
The results demonstrate the usefulness and flexibility of OpenCart as a tool for e-shop development, offering valuable knowledge and practical guidelines for anyone interested in engaging with e-commerce.
