pricing of health insurance policies in the actuarial science field. Through the
systematic analysis of fundamental texts, scientific articles, books and reports
in this field, it is placed on various perspectives, methodologies and
theoretical frameworks for health insurance pricing.
Historical developments as well as the basic concepts that are able to shape
and concretize modern practices are simultaneously examined, through a
detailed overview of the fundamental principles and basic rules in the pricing
of health insurance policies. However, as technology develops and pricing
processes are simultaneously renewed, this paper aims to simultaneously
monitor the evolution of actuarial techniques, regulatory frameworks, and
market dynamics affecting healthcare pricing strategies.
A clear reference is made to the basic concepts of insurance, which aim to
train the reader and to have as accurate an image of the insurance market in
the private sector as possible, through a series of scientific articles and
fundamental principles of insurance based on a series of from university
