In this thesis the development of an online platform for the e-assessment of higher education courses is presented. The proposed system enables instructors to automatically generate tests using pre-written questions stored in a Database, as well as, automatically grade the tests right after submission.
Some additional features include the support of question type variety, reusable questions by the teacher, examination scheduling and live examination mode for students and teacher. Also automated emails are informing each student with their results and the teacher with the whole class's results.
The tech stack used for this project is LAMP - Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP.
