This thesis concerns the development of a web platform called UniJobs, which is addressed to students looking for part-time jobs. The platform was designed using ASP.NET Core MVC and its goal is to provide a user-friendly interface that facilitates communication between students and employers.
Students can create profiles with their skills, availability and work experience, search for jobs that suit them, communicate via messaging with companies and add jobs to favorites. In addition, the possibility of rating and adding recommendations is given, enhancing their credibility. At the same time, employers can create their profile, post detailed job advertisements, search for candidates and communicate directly with them through a messaging system.
The platform uses the Microsoft SQL Server database to store data, while the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) tool is used to manage the database. The design and development focus on security, reliability and scalability of the solution.
