Brain drain

Abstract
This study investigates the phenomenon of brain drain from Greek universities. Research findings indicate that limited professional prospects within the country, low wages, and a lack of investment in research are the primary causes of this exodus. The economic implications of brain drain are significant, leading to a loss of human capital and a decline in Greece's economic competitiveness. To address this issue, the study proposes measures such as increasing public funding for universities, creating incentives for the return of scientists, and improving the business environment.
