This research investigates the correlation between resilience and decision making among principals, deputy principals and education executives in primary and secondary education. The theoretical framework analyzes resilience, the factors which enhance or weaken it, as well as the decision making processes in the educational environment, especially in times of crisis. The research follows a quantitative methodology, using the adapted Multidimensional Teacher Resilience Scale (MTRS) to measure resilience and a decision making questionnaire designed for school administrators. The findings of the research showed that resilience is considerably associated with the decision making process, favorably affecting the efficiency and adaptability of education leaders. Furthermore, specific factors predicting resilience were identified, such as emotional management, motivation, self-confidence, adaptability and continuous learning. In contrast, no statistically substantial correlation was noticed between demographic features (gender, age, years of work experience) and resilience or decision making. The discussion focuses on the interpretation of the results and the significance of developing interventions and programs to enhance the resilience of education leaders in order to ameliorate crisis management and strategic decision making in schools.
