The present study aimed to investigate how the concepts of innovation and sustainability shape educational practice in schools, focusing on both the experience of students and the attitudes of teachers. The methodology chosen was based on quantitative data analysis, which allowed the collection and statistical processing of a wide range of responses. The main research tool was a structured questionnaire, which included scales to record the degree of integration of innovative practices, the implementation of sustainable actions, student engagement, as well as teachers' professional satisfaction. The sample consisted of teachers of different specialties, who worked mainly in schools with diverse socio-economic characteristics. The analysis showed that innovation is strongly correlated with the active participation of students, leading to increased collaboration and critical thinking in the classroom. Similarly, implementing sustainable actions promotes ecological awareness and encourages students to engage experientially in environmental projects, although the measurement of their effectiveness often remains fragmentary. However, teacher job satisfaction did not show a strong link with innovation or sustainability indicators, suggesting a multifactorial determination of work-related well-being. The findings confirm that the existence of a collective culture and adequate funding are important prerequisites for the long-term success of both technological innovation and ecological interventions in schools. The study concludes with proposals concerning the partnership of school administration, teachers, local authorities and state policy, with the aim of consolidating integrated innovation and sustainability programs that will improve the educational experience of all those involved.
