In this bibliographical review, a comprehensive approach is taken on the topic of Emotional Intelligence, as well as leadership and administration primarily on the school setting. More specifically, it seeks to define concepts, provide a historical review and present the impact of Emotional Intelligence on professional environment and education, as well as to highlight its role in communication and conflict management. In the next step, characteristics that make school leadership effective are also highlighted, while the difference between a leader and a principal is emphasized as well. It is understood what the role of both the principal and the teachers in school administration is, while an image of management in developing countries and an example of leadership in Asia are also given. Clearly, the work could not be missing references and possible challenges in a school administration. The main members do not highlight the relationship of Emotional Intelligence with leadership and administration and its effect on reception, while at the end a case study of a teacher with high Emotional Intelligence is presented, which supports the findings discussed.
