Social Media (from now on SM) emerged at the end of the 20th century - beginning of the 21st century, with the initial purpose of easy interconnection and communication between individuals. After 2000, the SMs began to acquire a more specialized character. Each of them, in addition to the basic possibilities of direct communication, either offered separate innovative possibilities, or addressed a specific audience. Characteristic examples are MySpace which was used by musicians, Youtube which gave everyone the possibility to publish videos, Twitter which is still used for small publications and updates in real time, etc.
This thesis deals with the development of an SM platform aimed at a jobseeking audience. The platform provides a user-friendly environment that allows him to create and modify his professional profile, connect and exchange messages with other users, follow company pages, and even create his own in case he runs one of his own business. The application has some basic settings for each user, such as changing name, email, password, etc. The development of the work required research on existing SMs of the same type and was carried out with the most modern web development technologies.
