This study explores the dynamics of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) with a focused examination of Greece's investment environment, highlighting the case of Motor Oil as a key contributor to the Greek economy. FDI serves as a crucial driver of economic development, with impacts on job creation, technological advancement, and industrial growth (Alfaro and Chauvin, 2016). By investigating how FDI affects both macroeconomic indicators and sector-specific outcomes in Greece, this study aims to provide insights into the underlying factors that attract foreign investors to Greece, and more specifically to Motor Oil (Alfaro and Chauvin, 2016).
